Rotate Road Simcity 4

useful info for the elections tomorrow, Wednesday

The following is a position that has spread from the NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF PATAGONIA SAN JUAN BOSCO ABOUT THE DEBATE ON THE LAW OF AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA SERVICES. It is actually a summary of opinion of the Rector, some secretaries and deans, but the Humanities Eduardo Bibi who does not adhere to consider an institutional problem and proposes an open debate to this end.
  • "As a university we maintain that there is no consciousness without the development of knowledge, either individually or collectively make up a consciousness without a valid knowledge.
  • We also believe that the false information and information for generating false consciousness.
So for us , a media law and public outreach is also an education bill.
also why is our social obligation to render an opinion. not the only, not the best, it does ours, that comes from our competition with to public issues.
  • The role of mass media has been one of the key elements in the current design of consumer society led technobureaucratic. Not only in our country but throughout the world. The information management, implicitly or explicitly has become the most significant battleground to install the single thought, under the guise of freedom of the press.
This of course has meant that the media have an active (though often hidden) in non-formal education processes.
  • Not only that, but those remain a profound effect in shaping opinion public, bringing democracy to present one of the main dilemmas: information is a public good feasible from a political process of effective democratization, or is a private good subject to the laws of the market and, therefore, to concentrate? .
The current 22,285 national broadcasting law, as well as the illegitimacy of origin, is sponsoring a mercantilist approach based on subsidiarity of the state. A principle of theological and philosophical foundation of Thomism, used by Hayek and Friedman to make it the basis of neoliberal theory, "the State is entitled to intervene in case of absence from the market."
  • In our opinion, deserves and must therefore be reformulated. This restatement
justifies a broad and deep debate, because if no one understands this dilemma, taking positions becomes a direct consequence of economic interests or political views under the actors involved. Then loses meaning public debate because the scenario is precisely the individuals themselves riding that "the law does not pass."
  • and lose it, because talking about public information is also made explicit its equivalent: disinformation. If the media were concerned with the truth, as is the public university, the claim would relate only to the distribution license. One issue almost formal and bureaucratic. But we know not, the media are involved with their interests. We
opinion that TV, newspapers and radios educate (or miseducate, if allowed the expression) rather than the school itself and affect more than families in the education of individuals and groups. The tinellización creates more opinion that the best chair of sociology, the shallowness of the archetypes communication degrades depth discussion of ideas and the slant of the news supplants the more refined platform of political parties. With vulgarity and vested interests is building a reality and a discourse that justifies need to counter against any attempt at change.
  • no diversity of opinion, not diversity of ideas and no effective freedom of expression, the media are the main actors of social quietism even sponsor the conservative movement today proposed the self-appointed messianic founder of the Fatherland. Interestingly
the Information Society, prevailing political and commercial monopolies that manage the information and whose emphatic tufts tend to bias social decisions, compared with reference to the much talked about corporate social responsibility, another myth of the current proposals of coverage of reality that seems to yield the ambitions of the media oligarchies.
